The goal in this project was to develop driveway/entryway hardscape and backyard hardscape and structures for a construction project that was already underway. A key consideration was to create living spaces that take advantage of the spectacular views that the property enjoyed.

Backyard structures were designed in order to minimize the impact on the view, yet create a style that was consistent with the main house.  Separate barbecue and sunbathing areas were developed. The barbecue area features overlapping tiered rooflines which create a "vaulted" feeling when viewed from below. A spa/pool at the far corner features an infinity edge that creates an inspiring view of Mt Diablo in the distance. 

(Post-project photos not yet available)  The result is a spectacular living space that is seamlessly integrated with the backyard and its expansive views.
